Chun Ho-jin (천호진)

A nearly four-decade industry veteran, Chun Ho-jin has appeared in over 30 films and close to a hundred television dramas. Best known for playing beloved TV dads in the highly-rated weekend family dramas My Daughter Seo-young (2012), My Golden Life (2017), and Once Again (2020), he is affectionately known as South Korea’s “National Father.” His father roles not only endeared him to the Korean public, but have earned him multiple acting awards, including the Daesang (Grand Prize) at the 2017 and 2020 KBS Drama Awards.

His other notable works include City Hunter (2011), Good Doctor (2013), Six Flying Dragons (2015), Love in the Moonlight (2016), and Beyond Evil (2021). In 2022, he brought yet another memorable father role to life: the quiet Yeom family patriarch in My Liberation Notes.


Last year, he appeared in the series Joseon Attorney: A Morality, Twinkling Watermelon, and The Story of Park's Marriage Contract.
