The 1st Blue Dragon Series Awards was held on July 19, 2022 at Paradise City, Incheon and organized by Sports Chosun. It is the first award honoring k-dramas and k-variety shows that have been produced specifically by South Korean streaming services. This includes shows from over-the-top (OTT) platforms such as Apple TV, Netflix, Disney+, Kakao TV, Coupang Play, and TVING among others.
