Jeon Yeo-been’s professional acting career may have started relatively late for someone her age, but she has quickly established herself as one to watch.

Her performance as a student falsely accused of murder in the 2017 indie mystery film After My Death earned her an impressive six acting awards, including the prestigious Grand Bell, and she became known in the industry by the monikers “Rookie Monster” and “Freaky Newcomer.”
She was then nominated for the Baeksang Best New Actress award for her first major drama role, essaying the part of a grieving documentary film producer in the female friendship drama Be Melodramatic in 2020.
After landing the enviable role of sassy lawyer Hong Cha-young, the female lead to Song Joong-ki in his hit comeback drama Vincenzo, she gained quite the fan following.
That, together with the release of her acclaimed crime film Night In Paradise on Netflix cemented her status as one of the breakout stars of 2021.
There’s no stopping Jeon Yeo-been, who most recently starred in the Netflix comedy-thriller “Glitch'' with Lee Dong-hwi and Nana.
